The World Unseen, adapted from Shamim Sarif's novel of the same title, tells the story of two Indian-South African women who fall in love in the racist, sexist society of apartheid South Africa in 1952. When Miriam, a traditional married housewife, and Amina, a free-spirited, independent business woman, meet, Miriam is inspired to question the rules and conventions that bind her.
